In 1993, Christian Belmon inherited 30 hectares of mixed farming land in Goujounac. A true lover of wine and Syrah, he immediately decided to replant vines. Analyses of the soils were carried out and revealed that the plots were underlain by Kimmeridgian limestone similar to the Burgundy terroir. He then decided to surround himself with the best viticultural advisors and planted grape varieties that were original for the region but in keeping with this ancestral terroir: Chardonnay for the whites and Syrah and Cabernet Franc for the reds. Today, this family estate is run by a passionate team and welcomes the third generation of grandchildren who are already passionate about this fabulous natural heritage.
