The 5 friends of Château L’Insouciance

Driven by a common ambition, that of sharing their respect and love for great wines, five friends, Gilles, Jean-Marc, Olivier, Patrick and Xavier, got together to work on an ambitious project: to create a new wine. After many months of reRechercher, Patrick identified a promising terroir located in Saint-Estèphe between the Châteaux Calon Segur and Le Boscq and the vineyard was acquired in early 2009. The deep gravelly soil gives rise to wines that combine power and elegance.
