Château Gigault is a wine estate located in the Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux appellation, in the commune of Mazion, 6 kilometers north of Blaye. This property was created in the 18th century and today covers 29 hectares, 14 of which are vineyards with 90% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. Christophe Reboul-Salze bought the property in 1998. A key player in the Bordeaux wine trade since the early 1980s, he is convinced of the potential of this sector. His challenge: to prove that these terroirs will reveal great wines.
